Our Approach

Our belief is that our bodies were created to heal. Reflexology works because we have microcosm maps on our hands, feet, and ears that mirror our entire body, and affects every muscle, tissue, organ, and system of our bodies. Gentil manipulations of these specific areas trigger the body to do its healing work.

Almost everyone can benefit from reflexology! We have worked on many symptoms and syndromes, illnesses, disease and ailments: Cancer, MS, Parkinson’s, COPD, Neuropathy, joint and muscular pain, digestive issues, fertility, infertility, body changes through aging,  and so much more.

Reflexology May be the Answer

It is believed that the origin of Reflexology reaches back to ancient Egypt with inscriptions found in the tomb of a physician at the ancient burial ground Saqqara. The translation of the hieroglyphics are as follows: “Don’t hurt me.” The practitioner’s reply “ I shall act so you praise me.”

“Reflexology got me back on track emotionally and creatively last year. It is relaxing and allows your mind to ‘reset’. After my sessions with Holly, I was able to go home feeling energized and ready to tackle the next project. I was able to focus and organize my office. I also found it amazing for breaking ‘writer’s block’.

Marian Smith

“Holly has done wonders!!! Being on my feet the majority of the day and working with situations that require the entire body to be strained. Holly has convinced me the feet are the body’s brain and with time can heal issues that untreated can lead to serious medical issues. Thank You, Holly, for your knowledge and patience in healing!”

Owner, CAP Construction

“I am a very active person and I would wake up and have to get my feet warmed up to work. I decided to make an appointment to really see if working on my feet and hands could make a difference. It has. It’s amazing how much better my feet feel. They don’t feel fatigued and hurt when I get up in the morning. Thank you, Holly!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn How Reflexology Works!

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is an alternative medicine. It involves applying pressure to the feet and hands. Our goal is to gently press the pressure points located in the extremities, particularly in the feet and hands of the patient.

What is the difference between reflexology and massage?

Massage manipulates the soft tissues of your body. Its goal is for you to relax the muscles. A Licensed Massage Therapist does this by kneading, stroking, tapping and providing friction.

Reflexology, on the other hand, focuses on the reflex map points and areas located on the client’s body. We target the feet, the hands, and the ears of the patient using minimalistic movements. An example of such movement is thumb or finger walking.

Overall, the goal of massage is to manipulate your tissues and work “outside in” while reflexology is concerned about your pressure points and work “inside out.”

I have ticklish feet, can I still have reflexology?

Yes! Reflexology is not a gentle massage, it involves various degrees of pressure and probing certain reflex points – most clients who have worried about ticklish feet have been able to settle into the treatment without any problems. However, if we find an area on the feet is just ‘too tickly to treat’ we can switch to using hand reflexology in order for you to receive a full treatment.

Are reflexologists capable of healing the patient?

No. We, as your reflexologists, know that we do not have the healing hands to heal our patients. Rather than calling ourselves the “healer,” we are the facilitators. We help the client’s body relax through targeting the pressure points. After such method, it is up to the body to heal. In short, we only trigger the body for it to nurture and heal itself.

Does reflexology hurt?

It shouldn’t hurt but you may feel some discomfort if there is an area that is out of balance or congested. The discomfort will only last a short time as we work through the congestion and, if necessary, we can move on and return to rework the area later in the treatment.
